So 'Thank God it's Friday' is upon us and I hope you took this week and put to use some of the items we discussed last week.
I tell you it is an everyday choice to live victoriously through Christ. It's an every moment decision.
It's the moment that people cut you off on the road and you have to resist the urge to follow them and yell "You crazy moron!" (My own personal example).Or maybe it's the birthday of a lost loved one and you still are questioning, "WHY Lord, WHY have they been taken from us?" and you allow yourself to get into a depressive state.Or maybe it's the moment at work, when you feel you are being treated unfairly or different and you want to tell your co-worker or boss a thing or two.
These moments come up everyday and they come up often, causing you to make a choice.
The definition of choice is the act of choosing. The right, power or opportunity to choose. To have options. BY this very definition, you should see MOTIVATION. GOD gave you the RIGHT and POWER to choose wisely. He gave you a choice between good and evil. He lets you CHOOSE.
Deuteronomy 30: 19 says, "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live."
