Do you Understand Spiritual Warfare?

DO YOU UNDERSTAND SPIRITUAL WARFARE?

Have you ever felt that you were going through trials continuously and you did not know what to do? Have you experienced severe hurt, pain, rejection or hardship that made it difficult to keep going? You then have experienced spiritual warfare. Remember that everyday the enemy is looking for a way to accuse you! Remember that the bible tells us that Satan is the accuser of the brethren.

So what makes a person successful in spiritual warfare? A good way to start is utilizing the below qualifications:

* Endurance - the ability to endure and withstand hardship, adversity or stress. (2 Tim 2:3) We are to endure hardship as a good solider of Christ.

* Hatred - extreme dislike or loathing of evil (Ps 139:22). We are to detest what God detests.

* Knowledge - we are not to be ignorant of Satan's devices (2 Cor 2:11).

* Persistence - the ability to go on resolutely or stubbornly in spite of oppression. We must be persistent when dealing with the enemy (Ps 18:37)

* Separation - to get or keep apart (2 Tm 2:14). No man who wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life.

In order for you to be successful, ask the Lord to help you with the above qualities. Pray that you can receive strength to endure. Pray that you can become more Christlike and view evil the same way he does. Pray that he increases your spiritual knowledge. Pray that he gives you the strength to be persistent in your affairs. Pray that he help you separate yourself from doing things in the worldly system. He will give it to you. I will leave you with 2 confessions that you should speak out loud!

* I speak to every mountain in my life and command it to be removed and cast into the sea (Mark 11:23).

* I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19).
