RAIN, RAIN go away……..

RAIN, RAIN go away……..

I can certainly say that the month of April brewed many storms.  The thunder sounds streaming loud among the atmosphere!  The rain beating hard against everything it touched! The wind forcefully waving through the land! Yes, I can say that the month of April equaled showers…….

These showers could mean anything to you; they could mean relationships, finances, your spiritual walk, your career, your children, your marriage or your health. Whatever your personal shower was in April, remember that April Showers bring May Flowers!

This is a call! This is an awakening to appeal to your inner spirit to accept April’s showers because they have deposited water or life into your situations. I knew that May 1 was the day that I would resume the Blog of the Daily Morsel, because life has deposited much needed water from the storms that April brought. I know the enemy cannot win! Even though he laughed when the storms were brewing and rain was hitting the pavement hard, he didn’t realize that many of us were in a drought and all we needed much the much needed rain to awaken the life that was inside of us!

James says be glad when we face many tribulations ------ Read this passage below (James 1: 2- 12:

·         Trials and Temptations

² Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,^[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ⁴ Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. ⁶ But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ⁷ That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. ⁸ Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

⁹ Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. ¹⁰ But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. ¹¹ For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

¹² Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

HE IS GETTING READY TO DO SOMETHING BIG......

I know that he is getting ready to do something BIG! I was talking with a dear friend and my daycare provider and to make a long story short we were discussing how God wants us to be obedient and he will HAVE NO choice but to bless us. Latitia said, “I want to see God perform miracles and raise people from the dead, but we have to do our part.” However, we don’t do it for the blessing, we do it out of love for Him (more on this later, because Latitia is going to submit a morsel on this).  Anyhow during the time we were discussing GOD outside on the front lawn, one of the twins accidently locked the door and we were all locked outside of the house.  At first Latitia’s daughter tried the door and she reported it locked. I then tried the door and reported it locked. Latitia then went over to the door and reported it locked. So then we tried to get into the house through the window and while her daughter and I were trying to get the window opened, Latitia went back to the door and to our surprise “A MIRICLE happened” and the door was suddenly unlocked! We all knew that GOD had unlocked the door! There was NO physical way that the door could have been open!

WHOA!…THANK THE LORD FOR HIS WONDERFUL WORKS!!!! Latitia then said, “GOD is about to OPEN some doors for us that have been previously locked!”

Then I said, “God told us, you DON’T NEED TO TAKE IT ON YOURSELF AND GO THROUGH LOCKED WINDOWS……I WILL OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU” WHOA!!!!

So Morsel Family, be thankful for the April Showers that built up your character and be watchful for the fruit of the spirit and May flowers that will grow in your life.

WAIT on the Lord and wait for him to open up LOCKED DOORS in your life! He is merciful and GOOD!
