Thank you! Two words that mean so much to people. Words that we often say, without much oomph behind it. Perhaps you say it because it is second nature. Or you said it with passion when you really mean it!
How often do we THANK God, even for little things, such as reminding you to do something. Or BIG things like waking you up in the morning or allowing you to see your family each and everyday?
Today, let's remain in a thankful posture to the Most High. I am thankful for all things. I am thankful for the good and the bad, as these things have helped shape me. As you embark on your weekend, remember to give thanks to the One who gave you life! and LIFE more abundantly.
Ephesians 5:20
Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Psalm 118:1-18
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.
Psalm 105:1
Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!
Psalm 107:1
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 4:2
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
